I find it's a nearly laughable reflection on America that we have such a low tolerance of not hearing the sound of our own voices. Huzzah to Pixar for being the exception.

I assumed it was because they're afraid that children might get bored if there are "too many" scenes with no talking? But honestly, it comes off as sounding rushed and/or ad-libbed to me. I think kids are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for.

Still, I'm really happy it's doing well, because the more money it makes, the more inclined Disney will be to release any future Ghibli movies! I mean, maybe eventually they'll even bring over merch like plushies or something! That would be awesome. XD
