It's Been Awhile...

I just started a new job as a fiber optic technician. Basically, I assemble and clean fibers that doctors use for laser surgery. This obviously has nothing to do with my field but it's full-time and pays well so I'll be working here until I get my big job. The people who work with me are pretty cool. There is this one lady who I call the puzzle

maybe you need a heart to heart with your mom and tell her how you feel. its sad that folks dont know how to change the direction of their pain, like you said, since she's not happy, she wants everyone else to be miserable as well..

i pray that you get your dream job! just claim it. just said "I work at Ikea and i'm doing what i love and i get paid well for it!" <-- easy affirmation!

Yeah, I got your nudge lol! Thanks for doing that, actually...it feels nice to see that someone is paying attention lol. I have talked to my mom about it but she's in denial about her ways. She thinks nothing is wrong with how she is. Anyhoo, thank you for the prayers about the job! I definitely have been affirming myself that I have the job already. YEAHH!!!

congrats on your new job! i hope things work out well for you while you're there. there's nothing wrong with working there while you're waiting to jump to ikea. you can save money and get experience, two majorly good points. if you're going shopping soon i'll go with you! =)

i'm sorry your mom makes things so hard for you at home. i really hope that you get the job in NY, you probly need some time to be apart. maybe when she sees you being successful on your own she'll give you more respect. i hope she also finds whatever is missing for her to fulfill her life, she shouldn't put you down for achieving your goals. it sounds like she needs to find a career that makes her happy, not just a job, cos there's a difference. i thought she was a lawyer or something...
