The drama continues with the stupid Geo situation. Like the War in Iraq, there's been a stream of seemingly endless problems and issues and no one is on my side. The latest one involves the DMV. So after visiting my car insurance broker yesterday, I learned that the paperwork sent to me by the other insurance company states that they believe the car is worth $900 and that they can salvage the car for $500. Early this morning, the insurance people for the tow company finally called me with a settlement offer. $400. I was shocked. My car is worth around $1000, the damage is around $2500, and they're only offering me $400? Somehow, deep inside, I wasn't surprised. Well, yet another random trip to Boise to be with Jaci has been completed. In the last 6 days, we didn't really accomplish a whole lot, which is just our style. It was good to see her again and goof with her cats, and it was also quite successful a trip for my asthma, which didn't give me much trouble this time around. With the new carpet in the theater room, the audio/video equipment that will power the cinema is finally moving back in there after two months of being hidden in another room.
