Dances with Rabbits / Flat Tire of Destiny

So I'm one week into my two week house-sitting gig over here in the country on the opposite side of Portland from what I'm used to. The first week wasn't bad. Since I didn't have anywhere to be, I was at the house almost the entire time. I let the dogs I'm watching roam the property and watched a bunch of movies and cable television. It's been so ( Read more... )

Yea, I've been kinda of off and on watching the fantasy football stuff all day and your game with Matt has been entertaining. There were moments when it seemed to be Matt's weekend but you've clearly pulled it back out and will most probably handle the match. Now the fun between Ian and I continues tomorrow night as we still have games to play and it'll be close. Him and I were apparently perfectly matched this weekend. Even though I'm slightly ahead with three games left to play, I really could see it going either way. Tomorrow night is gonna be wild.

Hehehe The football icon is indeed useful sometimes! Don't feel too bad; I underestimated my team too. Because of the transition with this house-sitting thing, I let the settings for my team go too long and I was fully expecting to be decimated this week especially after hearing you helped Ian with his settings and player selections. I'm more shocked than anyone that I did as well as I did, but I always knew the first week is a total risk no matter what. I bet none of us really knew what would happen in Week One. I'm watching the San Diego / Kansas City game right now on ESPN and the announcers are talking about how six of the top 12 teams from last season have already lost their openers. That's how crazy things are at the beginning of the season. But now that we all know a little bit more about these players, Week Two will be a little more informed. Expect me to be a threat all season, just like last year! I'm gunnin' for the playoffs!

[Laying on the sarcasm] I'm looking at the score board and it says I'm 1 and 0 but you're 0 and 1. Should we call up ESPN and get them to fix their website? Muahahahaha [End sarcasm]

But in all seriousness, I think everyone expects you to make the playoffs. This coming weekend's match between you and Cassandra will be frickin' awesome. Frickin'. Awesome.
