I am so, so, so sore. I totally crashed this afternoon after I came home from the mothers' get together thing at Leith's (other) grandmother's house. I don't know why it made me so tired, all I did was sit around feeding Leith and eating! Maybe it was seeing the other four, older and very active babies that made me tired... lol. Leith's smiled at everyone except me. :( He's given my mum heaps of smiles, but not his own mum! And now he's crying so I've gotta go get him. D'oh! I want smiles! What if he doesn't know I'm his mum? Bah.

I'm falling in love with Leith more and more every day. The smell of his hair is addictive. Once I start rubbing my nose and cheek in it, I can't stop. I love it when he falls asleep at my breast, and when I look down at him, he's fallen off of it, his cheek is covered in milk and he's got a small smile on his face. YES YES YES YES YES. OH YEAH. MY MILK SUPPLY IS BACK IN BLACK -- actually it's a rather nice shade of white, but whatever. Leith was feeding every two hours on the dot last night for an hour each time (that meant getting up every hour... kind of hellish) and today he was so well behaved. Today Leith is 3 weeks old and I am absolutely going MENTAL. He's having major feeding problems, I'm having milk supply problems, Matt's very grumpy and tired indeed and I'm trying to keep a level head and a smile on my face -- quite hard at times. Leith has tongue tie. Therefore, he's "nipple feeding" rather than breast feeding. He has problems sucking, although he attaches well, and is unable to massage the milk from my breast with his tongue.
