In my last entry I wrote that Leith had put on 300ml. I meant... 300g :P lol. And this week he put on another 200g. It's nothing amazing but it's a lot more than he had been putting on, so we're happy ( Read more... )

Leith FINALLY put on 300g in one week. Finally! It took me spending a few hundred dollars, and taking 30 pills a day, but we got there. I think he's growing more still, he seems more chubbier and is more efficient at breast feeding. Still needs a lot more work but he's getting there.

Leith hasn't put on even one gram in a week. He's only ten grams heavier than his birth weight and he's six weeks old now. We've started adding formula to his diet as well as breast milk. I give him the breast, then I give him some expressed milk, then I give him some formula. Takes somewhere between an hour and two hours but I'm not complaining ( ( Read more... )
