you can lay down and feed. it doesnt have to be a big production of sitting up etc...
if you lay him along your arm, on your side, you wont roll on him.
you'll be more relaxed, he'll be able to feed as he wants...
you dont have to fall asleep, but you can... i kept all my babies in bed with me at night and fed them through the night that way, rolling over the change sides. i never rolled on any of them and they all survived..
you dont have to do it that way - but you dont have to sit up and make a job of it... i'm not saying you are, by the way - i'm saying thats what i did at first, till i figured out the other way... and i was like you - exhausted.
It really does get easier. I'm sure other people are telling you that too, and it probably doesnt feel like it now. But it really does get easier.
