Lightning photos

An isolated thunderstorm blew through to our north and looked like a great opportunity to grab some pictures and experiment. Out of 119 photos, 11 came out pretty cool. This looks like the best one...

That's a great picture..... when we have storms here, lightnings don't really come out that spectacular.

Very nice Joe. I particularly like DSC_0003. It reminds me of the plasma spheres that were all the rage a couple of years back.

My dad took some lightening photos from the front porch when I was a kid. I think it was time lapse stuff and I remember them being very vivid. I'll have to see if I can find a couple and scan them in.

Reminds me I need to go back and look through my photos from a thunderstorm in Costa Rica from last summer. Pretty amazing stuff.
