but seriously my whole plan was to go to american university for international relations! i was all serious about it. i was a NZ-o-phile long before the LotR movies!

I can, but I have to start with something solid, like the group of guys I hung out with and the film project we did. Then things start associating and flooding back. Now that I have a bunch of 15 year-old memories in my head, I've almost certainly forgotten something from today.

I don't know how I managed this, but I was taking the smoke into my mouth and not into my lungs. I honestly thought I was smoking. Heh. Good thing I wasn't!
