* I was told that there was a women's hockey fandom, and I went, "OH? I would learn about hockey for a women's hockey fandom!" But no. There are 55 f/f fics on AO3, and more than 2/3 of them either are genderswap or have the f/f as a background pairing. I love Hanna SO MUCH.

The Marvel (Comics) tag is kind of hard to navigate, even if you use a cut filter to get rid of the MCU stuff. If you're interested, these are the Marvel things I liked enough to bookmark.

I think a lot of people in the Marvel comics fandom tag their fics as MCU for more hits.

I mean, I get that, but these are fics that are tagged MCU and not tagged comics. How will the people most familiar with the canon they're working from ever find them?

AO3 marvel-related tags are kind of the worst, because everything has kind of fallen into...meta fandom. I remember looking for JiM fic and giving up because it was just page after page of generic MCU-inspired fic using it as a tag to mean "kidfic with Loki"

See, that makes sense to me, but it's the people who tag their comics fic as MCU and not comics that confuses me. Marybe they're trying not to scare the MCU-only people away?
