Is Lilith pride, and Abaddon envy?

Why, yes! Yes, that brilliant interpretation is exactly what I was going for. Obviously. *cough*
(No seriously, that is brilliant. Why didn't I think of that? But I am always ecstatic when people are to draw things out that I didn't intentionally put in.)
I am so glad you liked. Thank you for the lovely comment. :)

I am thrilled that you liked it! I so often have trouble with plot that it's always fun when I have a plotty ending in mind right from the get-go like this. :)

I legit thought that was the word we meant in the episode, and I was so impressed that SPN had introduced this word with so much metaphorical richness (especially considering we introduced the 'Men of Letters' in the same episode). And then I went to the internet, and found that apparently we meant her to be a Knight rather than a Night. Hence fic.
I am so tickled that you liked it! There's so much to be done with that interpretation, I think. Lucifer as Angel of Light, the seven Nights of Hell echoing the seven days of creation, etc. Symmetry everywhere!
