Your epic list of a/b/o is one of my new favorite things EVER. I've read a number of the fics on it already, but can't wait to find the time to read the rest :D

Also GAH, EXCHANGE! I want to sign up, but my time is going to be severely limited starting at the beginning of October. Once I get my present 2 challenges done and out of the way, I need to stick my nose to the RL grindstone.

YAY. I am so glad to hear that it's of use!

I want to sign up, toooooo, but I'm thinking maybe I should take the holiday season off from fannish commitments.

I'm thinking maybe I should take the holiday season off from fannish commitments.

Last year I did that, and I spent the time I wasn't going RL crazy working on fics that I wanted/needed to finish and getting a head start on my big bangs. I definitely benefited once big bang season hit and I had zero time to write anything on any sort of regular basis.

Yep. It's not like I lack for things to write, and it would be excellent to get a head start on the big bang I want to write for next year. It's just, everybody's signing up! And signing up is so much fun! (Honestly, I think it might be the best part. The anticipation...)

I love rec lists (they're often how I find things, especially when exploring new fandoms/pairings tropes), but I am often reluctant to rec things myself, partially because of Odd Internet Shyness, and partially because I almost always think I should not have a single rec, but some kind of huge list, and then I'm like, "Oh that's work." Or how I intended to do a SPNJ2BB rec list, but then didn't get around to reading some of the fics I wanted to read before I typed one up. I'm lazy, basically.

That said, I'll rec on memes and things like spnstoryfinders, if I happen to like a fic of a sort that someone else is looking for.

Ha ha. Yeah, I keep a running list of things I want to rec whenever I next do a recs post, but if it's for a fandom I don't read in much or just stumbled across, then I'll just post it separate. Or sometimes if I REALLY LOVE SOMETHING A LOT and have to tell everyone RIGHT NOW, I'll do an instarec instead of saving it for the recs post. But I don't like doing that, because then I can't decide if I should include it in the regular recs post or not. Dilemma!

*nod* I do very much like linking people to exactly what they're looking for. I always check into the new f_fa post for that, even if for no other reason, because they have a "fic recs" thread in the beginning of every post.
