Yanno, there are only so many things a vamp can do during the day, and there's only so much daytime TV to be had. Makes sense Spike might develop a taste for other things on occasion.

I'm not sure if he ever quotes another musical, but I do have thoughts -- mostly coming from my speculating about Whedon's interests based on what he writes and also what he's expressed interest for in interviews.
I've always imagined Drusilla and Spike learning every new dance for each generation, you know, and I bet Spike loved all the dancing and singing during the great musical era in Hollywood. Ever the performer.
I can totally see Spike snapping his fingers and dancing at the front of his gang a la West Side Story. If only Sweet were to appear back when Spike was still evil, had a gang, and he'd just watched West Side Story. Or wait -- now I'm imagining Spike and his 'gang' of kitten poker buddies. LOL! There must be a way to make this Spuffy...
