Grrr....writer's block

I have writers block on both "series" I'm working on.  I've been struggling on my mysteries for some time now - I was able to write my one published story in large part because it was originally written as a space adventure story and all I did was de-sci-fi it.  Somehow fiction set in reality keeps losing its fun, no matter how much I try to get in

Did I ever tell you about the novel I've been working on since 7th grade? To give you an idea, I've been out of undergrad for almost 3 years now.

Basically, I am very much a mood writer, so when it strikes my fancy I can write several pages of stuff, but when I'm uninspired I struggle to turn out one page and I end up throwing it out later anyway because it was crap.

So, the moral of the story is that I totally feel where you're coming from. Unfortunately, I don't have any sage advice to offer you. :(
