Okay, why in the frack does the universe feel it needs to give me a big ol' cosmic lesson about procrastinating and being chickenshit? The cosmos doesn't need to get involved, kthx, it's nothing new. But hono, that's not good enough for the universe. On the bright side, I think I believe in [a?] God now, because this is clearly VERY CLEVERLY ( Read more... )

Oh ... as a completely /chronic/ procrastinator I completely uinderstand and empathise with you. Certainly my situations are not nearly as harsh as yours, but it's just so easy to say tomorrow ... tomorrow ... and before you know it six months has passed.

It happens to me all the time.

You should probably avoid a doctor who you're not comfortable with I think. If you feel that this doc doesn't have /your/ interests truly at heart -- and you're the patient, here -- then you're entitled to say you won't be his guinea pig for his personal crusade...

Not sure that was helpful, but thinking of you...

Procrastination is the bane of my life :0 As is my tendency to stick my head in the sand and hope bad things will just disappear. Although it was a lot worse when the bad thing was 'homework' and explains a lot about my lack of qualifications :D

I'll attend the appointment tomorrow, but if it all goes up the left and I'm merely given yet-more-goddamn-happy-pills then I'm just gonna stop by reception and arrange an appointment with somebody else. You know, unless I've bashed my head off the wall and given myself brain damage by that point.

Love yew xx

I see that tomorrow is now today. Hope it went well, or at least you found someone else to make it go better with.

I think everyone has those tendencies, just a matter of figuring out how to deal with them.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't helpful, but again, I have to procrastinate my work somehow...

Here's to the cosmos being on your side for once.
