yeah...I know :) ...but it's not just for large entries though. Check out my journal. I just did a bunch of tests, with myself on my friends list. It doesn't recognize centering for text either...any ideas??
...but it is. When you view the lastn view (recent entries) each entry is displayed quite differently from the friends view.
In lastn, each entry is in a cell with the time and the comments link within the same cell as the journal entry itself.
Since the time is left-justified, and the comments link is right-justified, the cell that contains the entry text is as wide as possible - as wide as teh "super-cell" that includes all your entries.
On the friends view, the time and comments links are cut off from the entry text. Because of that, the cell your text is in is only as wide as it has to be to fit all the text. Since all those entries you have are not as wide as the "super cell," the text can be centered within the cell but still appear to be close to the left side.
That is why Suppafly's picture appreared centered on his journal but left-justified in the friends view. On the friends page it was indeed centered-in a cell that was left-justified.
