the pool- late at nighthaswetpokemonOctober 30 2010, 22:37:05 UTC
Misty was enjoying the night. She had to admit that she was a bit... wary during this very certain holiday, all things considered, but she was still having a nice time. It maintained a nice atmosphere outside- not too dangerous (yet?), but it had that air of spookiness. It was a pleasant level of it.
That didn't mean she wasn't still classically worried, but that was mainly because of the way the school is. So far, no mishaps, though. That was a good sign.
She approached the pool, clad in her little mermaid outfit. It was October and the night air came to a cold breeze. It was a bad idea to take a dip into the pool, but sticking her feet in and looking at the stars wouldn't hurt, right? That would be just fine.
She sank down, sat on the concrete, and dunked her feet inside. That was refreshing, she realized with a sigh. She was more than content.

"I guess, but once he shoved you, I didn't even see him at all!" Misty spoke. She then remembered that supposed 'trick of light' from the bushes. When she felt she 'saw something'. That was just...
"I saw someone in the bushes. Maybe that was the kid?" She wondered with a frown. She walked over to the nearby bushes and brushed them aside, only to see--!

"I don't know what we can do if we don't know who did it!" Misty frowned. "If it looked like that boy, though, with the green hat... maybe I can try to find him after all. I can try now that I've got a lead somewhere!"
Even if it was kinda flimsy, and she wasn't even sure it was real.

"I saw a boy in the bushes, but once I blinked, he disappeared!" Misty explained. "I don't even know if I was seeing things or not! He had a green hat, he was smiling like he did something wrong... oh, and I think he had blond hair! He was really short, too!"
That was the best description she could pull from what she remembered.

"Too bad I don't know a lot of people here these days. It'll all be over by sunrise in any case."
Nope. Luigi wasn't blonde. Leon started to pull all his hair back and wring out the ponytail as he spoke.
"But if you do find him and your Pokemon manage to rip him a new one, then all the more stronger you get towards becoming the champion and showing uglyface out the door, right?"

That was a very good point. It'd help in two ways! Not that she... REALLY planned on aiming to be Champion, though. It was an awful white lie, but mentioning crushes was not what she planned on this Halloween.
Misty nodded, smiling uneasily. Oh, crushes, you so crazy. "I sure can! It shouldn't even be that long until sunrise anyway, right? It is kind of late," she told him, looking to the stars again. "I usually go to sleep earlier than this, but it IS Halloween, after all, and-"
Wait, uh, he was wet. Uh, yeah, about that. "Oh! Wait, you're wet! Shouldn't you get some better clothes? You can come back out after, if you want. I might still be here! Or I might go around campus again!"

"I think I'm gonna head to the bar after I go home and shower," he said while putting his shoes back on. "But we'll talk again sometime. You're good company."
Re: the pool- late at nighthaswetpokemonNovember 1 2010, 01:20:07 UTC
Aw, that was a shame, but Misty definitely did enjoy the company while it lasted. She grinned. "So are you! Thanks for keeping me company! It was good talking to you!" She, too, would head off and explore around campus more. Maybe grab one more coffee. She kinda needed it. "See you later!"

"Likewise."
He waved a hand briefly and left in his own direction. The thought about leagues and champions stood in his mind, but Champions more dominantly. He WAS after all, the most admired and wanted (no, not romantically) killer in his district back in the day.
It's only a matter if he'll ever be the best at something ever again.

Hopefully nothing would ruin her night...

Once on dry ground again, he had to relieve some damp weight off him, so the best had to go.
"I'll just flunk him if I've seen him in class." Maybe it was Falco? But surely he wouldn't do anything so CHILDISH!

Nothing. That was underwhelming.

Leon was freezing but he did his best to keep a straight face.

His first thought was that Luigi fellow, obviously.
