Oh wow, I apparently have a thing about writing fic when I'm kinda drunk. Go figure, right? Seriously though, my poor spell check almost broke with this and it's rather confusing plot is hurting my almost hung over head, but whatever. I wrote it, so I'm gonna post it. Excuse the mistakes and read at your own risk.

I think you wrote of their entire relationship pretty spot-on too.
THIS: "Selena wasn't stupid, she knew that Demi cared, maybe even as much as she did, but Demi had always wanted approval from everyone... Demi fought demons that Selena never had to, but that didn't mean she didn't understand..."
I think this is exactly what happened between them: "... I suppose part of the problem was that we never talked about it, huh? We just hinted and assumed and then everything fell apart..."

It's... I can't think of a word to describe it. I mean, drunk Selena is hilarious. And she's pretty sweet too which is uber-cute with Demi caring for her and the two of them talking how they kind of just grew apart and how they missed each other. This was seriously adorable. And lmao at Selena and the lasting effects of the eggnog. And This line-- "Ignore that, I think it's the last of the eggnog that was talking there. I mean we've barely sorted this out, haven't probably said half of the things we should have and here I'm trying to, I don't know, get you naked." It cracked me up. Then the r-rated stuff ensues... What a wonderful fanfic. Lol.
Maybe you should get drunk more often and write at the same time. Jk.

Yeah, I couldn't help but think that Selena would be a FANTASTIC drunk! She just seems like the type that would get seriously shit faced on very little and end up doing giggle worthy crap.
As for getting drunk more often and writing? Well, it is almost the holiday season...I mean how else does one get past spending so much time with your family? Getting drunk is part of the tradition!

Yeah, as much as I'd love for them to spend Christmas like this, I really would settle for seeing them at least acknowledge each other or something in public.

This is the most adorable, heart warming, hilarious, amazingly written, heart wrenching fic... ever. About them.
I-honestly this made my night, not gonna lie. This was just like... fucking perfect. And Drunk Selena, i just need that to happen all the time. And the way you wrote the lurv scene was beautiful

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the rather lovely comment! Glad Selena didn't come off as a complete boob while drunk, because drunk me had waaaaay too much fun writing her!
I'm glad I got the sexin' right too, though to be honest when I started it was gonna be plain smut, but I pretty much fail at writing smut so it got all 'emotional'. lol.
