Darby has been doing a lot more chores this week because she got an advance on her allowance this past weekend to buy a book. I don't know what the deal is, but in the last week, Darby has found it necessary to detail every little thing that she has ever done wrong, or even may have done wrong in her short 8 years of life. It has ranged from, "I borrowed a pencil from Alicia and forgot to give it back, to "I played 'sex' with my Barbies."

Rebirth!
Finally, finally, finally, this semester is almost over, along with one of themost difficult documents I have ever had a part in. Seventy-one pages and twenty pages of appendices. Everybody giving their input and comments and no one actually willing to help write the damn thing ( Read more... ) -
Very quickly
I'm having to post this from work because my computer is infested. Yes. over 100 viruses and over 300 different adwares. The IT guy Jerry works with has tken my computer home with him and is wiping the hard drive because that is the only way to save it ( Read more... ) -

Accomplished
Thanks to a lot of help from friends and family, the shed (though it is rather large to call it a shed) in the back yard is now painted, wired, and tar-papered. Also, the area behind the shed that is going to be a dog pen is now cleared, bordered, filled in, and partly graveled ( Read more... ) -
Last real day of the year
I'm sitting here in my office trying desperately to get the motivation to grade these last 12 papers. Maybe I need some music. Maybe I need some alcohol ;) Seriously, some sort of pain killer would be nice because some of these papers really make my head hurt and my stomach turn ( Read more... )
