I'm always excited to click on your entries because I really enjoy the screenwriting style and your subjects are just off-the-wall enough to keep me interested, even if I don't entirely know what's going on. St Bier here is such an interesting character; I want to know more about him and what's going on in his head. Mostly I just enjoy seeing these little snippets from a broader storyline and the way your characters interact with each other, which feels very genuine. Good work this week! :)

Thanks Sean. I'm glad these short scenes I write tickle your fancy. Been at it quite awhile. Should've had a completed first draft by now but my biggest obstacle is making these 5-10 page scenes so as they make sense with the rest of the off-the-wall scenes I dream up.

If he finds her attractive, I don't know why she'd need an excuse like the war to start up a romance with him. Though I guess if there are boundaries that cannot be crossed unless you think you're gonna die anyway. This is just my personal musings. I'd be unlikely to ask a question like that in any case because I have a history of my friends not being attracted to me like that. XD

I think they shaved the heads of prisoners because for Jewish women, their hair IS their glory. It's tied to their religion. So the guards shamed them in every way possible, including taking away all beauty and individuality.

I do think there is a lot of slavery going on today. Sometimes they call it prison, sometimes they call it student loans, sometimes they call it minimum wage that is too low to ever live on.

Your entry definitely gives me a lot to think about!

Just an aside...shaving the heads...told it was for lice, probably just about humiliation, control, and dehumanization.
