This is sort of a bucket list thing for me, the whole screenwriting world--I think I'm suited for documentaries in that vein. I started writing one a few years ago, but screen writing (especially for documentaries or non-fiction) is vastly different from writing poetry or fiction--or even creative non-fiction articles, so it felt very awkward for me at the time. I would like to give it another try someday. And--ooooh...medieval ink? I do hope you'll post about that again.

I’m a sucker for ancient alien documentaries. But I have little patience sitting thru instruction / lecture. I like the way Werner Herzeg approaches documentaries, but then again it could be that I just enjoy the projects Herzeg chooses to do. I’m not a fan of the writing style; hence know little of it.

I strongly believe docudramas are the best way to approach that style. Mixing fiction with captivating truths to hypnotize the audience seems the way everything is done, like showing a sexy woman, creating tension with violence, and other tricks. The ways to hold an audience’s interest during the boring parts: eye candy.
