No, not mine. Hard on the heels of a discussion of deafblind dogs at goingferal's place, this happy little boy needs a place to go.

As soon as you get a fb post up I'll 'boost the signal'. Also, we have those glasses in TEENY SIZE from when Baby was with us. Also, also -- there is a black and tan purebred dobie puppy in our local shelter. WE're trying to get her into rescue. Cross things that direction too, please.

Just found it and posted! Dobie post is linked from myf acebook. She's an AWESOME little dog, even if she's actually mixed or whatever.

Signal Boosted!!

If Bertha wasn't so 'me me me me' right now... I would be snatching this pup up to try and train for service dog work. He's amazing... I can tell he would be something special for someone!! Bertha is just not ready to hang up her cape yet.

Just imagine a dog immune to visual and auditory distractions! Obvs he's not a good match for someone who needed a sighted/hearing service dog, but for someone who needed more in the balance assistance and med-reminders range of things, he'd probably do purty well.

Signal boosted...wrong side of the pond, but I have peoples who read this in USAia, so fingers crossed.

Also...Awwww! Wannawanna! Cute, lovely dog.

(This is why I am not allowed in the RSPCA or PDSA or NCDL kennels. Ever! I'd have a flat-full within a week)

Thank you sir! And yeah, I stay out of animal shelters for pretty much exactly the same reason.

Ooops...I may have ranted on my lj to someone who insisted that "Dogs like that are in great risk of becoming fear biters. I guess I'm cold enough to think that in most cases dogs with a double handicap like that one are better off not existing ( ... )

I snuck in over there too. Srsly, better off not existing? La Diva Tinkerbella begs to disagree.
