My Dad decided to upgrade his camera but has given me free reign to play with it. Yay!

We'd been talking about upgrading my camera, but instead he decided to, which is nice as it gives me the extra time to save up and figure out if I really want a digital SLR or not (and for the overpriced but I want it Panasonic G1 with the interchangeable lenses ( Read more... )

I once worked a Sigma f5.6 into a fic *iz smug*

I'm going to try to post some more often. I've been posting them to facebook because it's really easy (one of the main good things about FB besides playing bejewelled *L*)

If I ever managed to get somewhere with my travel journal they'd be there, but it hasn't happened yet *sheepish look*

Travel journal? Ooh. And yay for Facebook :) Remember those guys 'own' your pics, just in case you were going to end up selling your photos or something :)

Re: the travel journal. Seriously there is nothing much there, even less than I remember but one of these days I'll actually sit down and do something with it (especially now that I'm writing again and my confidence in my writing is increasing) Once I do I'll probably put something in my lj about it ( ... )

Yeah, that would have to wait for a weekend where it's not raining/cold so I can be arse to get out of bed, and when I'm not feeling like all I want to do is stay in bed and sleep/read fic... which is pretty much how I'm feeling nowadays when I'm not at work. *sigh*

Speaking of outings though, talked to Dad about the Star Wars thing and he can do the 18th (sat) or the 25th or 26th July. Do any of those dates work for you?
