Hey, wow, this is adorable! I have such a soft-spot for Anne fics, there aren't nearly enough in the world, and I can see her and Faith getting on like a house on fire. Faith protecting her like a fierce cheetah.. I'm all over this. Thank you so much!

Anne spends much of her time on Buffy looking for a protector -- the vampires, Ricky, Buffy. I think her arc on the show ends with her decision to take care of herself, but here she's not quite there. So another Slayer would probably get that hope as well. She was probably fairly disappointed when Faith got up and left after the sex.
