I've not seen any difference with my Lj which is odd - I'm assuming most of my friends are using layouts that don't particularly change under the new settings. I can even add a subject to this comment, and choose an icon in the usual way.... odd.

Custom comment pages will continue to work without anything changing. So my journal (and yours, if memory serves) will be fine. But any journal that DOESN'T use custom comments pages, has been 'upgraded' to the new layout. Which includes all of the comms that I mod. Of which there are several. And overall, my experience has been that MOST comms don't use custom comments pages, as the 'basic' comment page has always been the cleanest option, and the easiest for everyone to load on any device.
It's very dumb. I'm trying to figure out what they were thinking, but I just can't. Here's hoping that the thousands upon thousands of negative comments will eventually get through to them, and they will fix it. *fingers crossed*
Note that you'll understand when you watch: "Typical Montreal" like the refs are always the same and are Habs fans that didn't call back ANY goals that night. Your coach is actually pretty adorable when he is bias. I actually laughed, and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way, I mean his passion is quite endearing. I like him!

Thank you!! *bounces* (I ended up rewatching the first episode last night while this episode was airing, just to try and fill the void not being able to watch this one caused.) I can't wait to watch it tonight :-D
