So there will be no point to come to your place early? You have already done everything during the wee hours. I think I'll be there about noon, baby willing. And perhaps I'll be able to sleep a bit more before that, when the little one takes her first nap of the day.
I would have liked to see how you make your tea eggs... :-) But now some coffee and rye bread with that egg filling from yesterday.
Well, honestly, there's very little to see in boiling eggs. :(
Even tea eggs fail to be exciting -- they take over two hours to boil (twiddle, twiddle, twiddle, I think I'll BS in IRC), and the principle is so simple once it is explained thoroughly, you can do it even in your dreams (like I did).
Then there's the cheesecake -- but that's not exciting, either... Yeah, sure, the end result will be pretty showy (gods willing -- we'll get QUITE A LOT of excitement and cleaning up if the gelatin doesn't work, this is not a typical cheesecake), but the actual preparation is the very essence of banality. Mix. Stir more ingredients in. Mix.
I recommend popping around 11:45 am -- I'm serving the food at 12:30 pm, and about that's when I'm going to do the MORE exciting stuff, such as fried eggs (which, quite honestly, aren't that exciting), but decorative work and assembling should be somewhat entertaining.
So, please, by all means, have a nap. Mommies need naps. :)
