Oh yeah, I love my brushes! I only started using them the last few years, too, although I've been wearing makeup for a couple decades.

I use one for my powder foundation finish (MUFE HD Microfinish powder), another one for loose powder blush (bareminerals), a small soft one for eyeshadow, and a tiny one for eyeliner. I love my eyeliner brush so much! I use it with a dry powder eyeshadow (currently L'Oreal in dark brown), add a couple drops of water, and it makes instant liquid liner, with much more control over how much color I get on the brush. It has made all the difference for me with being able to have decent-looking eyeliner!

Your eye makeup method sounds perfect! I'm definitely going to try dipping the brush in water for the liquid liner look. Do you use natural bristle brushes or synthetic?

I think the eyeliner brush is synthetic. It's the Sephora Professional Platinum Eyeliner Brush #19. Doesn't say on their web site, but I have two other brushes from the same collection, and they are both synthetic.

For my foundation, I use both natural and synthetic. Depends on which one is being washed or drying at the time. I'm slowly moving toward going vegan, and thus all synthetic brushes too, but my natural brushes work just fine so I'll keep using them til they fall apart.

Thanks, I will definitely check out those Sephora brushes! I've been doing the liquid eyeliner look you mentioned and loving it, but I could use a better eyeliner brush since mine is a little too thick.

Are you going vegan in your diet as well? I've been moving toward 100% vegan as well, so I'd love to hear about your progress!
