Ooh, please let me know what you think of Oryx and Crake. I have a problematic relationship with Margaret Atwood at best, but I feel like I should read more of her work.

This is the first novel by Margaret Atwood that I've read more than one page of. I've tried to read The Handmaid's Tale several times, and tried The Robber Bride once, but couldn't get into either one. I'm not overly impressed with Oryx and Crake just yet, but 200+ pages into it, I'm still reading, so what seems a somewhat tedious journey thus far may end up being a satisfying read. One of my all-time favorite books is Bound for the Promised Land by Richard Marius, which I don't think many people have heard of. Just mentioning that 'cos I like to recommend it whenever I can. (Had to sneak that in there lol. Like you don't have enough to read. ;) )
