He'd gone without sleep before but it'd been awhile and coming back from a cold climate to a fairly warm one, losing a day and having to go right to class had exhausted Gavin by the time he staggered back to his room.
He used his spare key to open the door since Inara had his other set, kicked the door shut but didn't notice when it didn't close all the way.
Without even taking his shoes off, he flopped onto the bed and fell asleep.
