ohnotheydidnt is just a site devoted to celebrity news. Honestly, I don't recognize 90 percent of the celebrity names and faces featured on ONTD. My main reason for signing up with ONTD was to read the ridiculous comments people leave for each posts. The last time I checked, there were over 90,000 members in this community. It's strange how the number of members caps off at 50,000 on the profile page.

Excerpt about ONTD from the LJ 10th Anniversary book: "The community has reached many records. It was the first to reach LJ's 10,000 comment limit in just three hours. It also reached the undocumented limit for journals of 16.7 million comments, causing lj_maintenance to perform emergency maintenance on the databases. Fuck no, I'm not averse to swearing, but thanks for asking. I just edited the title for the MusicLovers community, where I also posted this. Yeah, I swear all the time, too, but try to be conscious of others and edit myself where approriate, etc. Maybe I'm just too damned nice.
