Yes, I wish there were biking trails here in Loganville too. I really envy cities that have them. Quebec City had lots of them and in Florence, Italy most people get around by bike regardless of their age. Not here, no wonder we are such a fat country ( ... )

Family history is a lot more fun when you get older. I'm not sure why. LOL We are related to John Hancock on my Grandma's side - but all his children died so it's only through cousins. She once told me that we were related to a very small Count or something like that in France...but I don't know how she figured that out. It's a small world I guess so we could be related to a lot of neat people and not know it.

It is definitely not surprising in the US that people have such problems with obesity and less access to the outdoors like we used to have back in the day. I wouldn't ride my bike in Stockbridge, I'd probably end up dead by a car or robbed by a street jerk or something. In Red Deer if I just use common sense I'm fine.

Oh and it's not illegal to ride a bike on the sidewalks here, which makes it 90% safer. They make them extra wide so that all people of all sports can use them.

"Harlow Walker" is such a romantic name! I love it.

And my peeps started out as Canadians and ended up here! Go figure.

I feel inspired to go for a bike ride now <3

I need to gather up some family history info as well. You're right, it's way more fun as you get older. When I was little I didn't give a crap, but now I wanna know where my roots are!
