Since this is the rarity in Boston, I thought I'd share:

Today, every single random person I encountered face to face? Was super nice and courteous. Like, people returning carts for moms carrying infants, offering to help carry groceries for each other, and striking up conversations.

Talk about an awesome, positive morning. :)

That's awesome!

I was asking people for directions because I was lost (when trying to go to my meeting). I approached one person and said "Excuse me?", and he said "Don't bother me". Really dude? Ugh.

Glad people were better/awesome to you!

Everyone was so nice today. I seriously thought I might be dreaming, or having some sort of hallucination. Most Bostonians are gruff and a bit lazy (which leads to things like grocery carts randomly shoved into your car, etc.) - and today, they were all super nice. It rocked. :)

Shopping carts into cars? WTF! I'm glad they were so nice though! ♥

Yep. Folks will decide not to return the cart (to the store or corral), and just kind of shove them away, or put them in between cars. It's so stupid, but it happens all the time here. So to see every single person return their carts, and help others bring their carts back - it was like Bizarro Boston for a while.
