'k. Sorry, not having visited myself...

If you've got a copy of pred.txt, you might like to lend it to L, who was interested in reading it. I've got one, it's buried around here someone...

Diode 'renamed' Hercules Pillars Drain 'Preds Tomb' as well, but beyond some graff on the second waterfall, the name never stuck.

There are over 50 drains in Melbourne with the affixed name 'Tomb', as, in the early days of CC everyone and their dog named a drain after themselves, it becoming their 'Tomb'. Various ppl have lamented this fact as it is now considered unnecessarily egotistical and boring to name a drain after oneself given how much more interesting names have cropped up for tunnels not named after explorers, a lot of whom eventually disappeared.

By pred.txt, you mean the book? I think almost the entire thing is in actual txt, lol, form at http://cat.org.au/~predator/ , the diaries being at http://conway.cat.org.au/~predator/blog-index.html Its weird that theres 500 pages there. Doesnt seem it.

Cheers dude.

You're always off jetsetting about, who do you usually go to for a few months of storage? Most places around Sydney are charging an arm and a leg to stow a double bed, it's not until out at Prospect that the prices go down.

Apart from computers, stereo, tv and bed, which go to rellos, everything else goes to a really nice cheap storage place in Leichhardt, called The Council Tip.

I thought there was an entry of yours from 06/07 where you broke into a storage place to get your stuff back? Might have imagined it.

Oh, trust me, that cover is not unremovable. (Should an event like I linked occur, it'll simply blow the manhole, mounting collar and all, TO THE MOON!!!! XD

That manhole shaft is on a Minneapolis drain known as Frozen's. Ive not done it unfortunately. The video incorrectly pinpoints it in Calgary.

By unmoveable i mean, you could get in, but the effort would outwigh the outcome.

Somewhere out there is an alien spaceship with a manhole cover shaped dent in it.

never say never

In about a years time i plan on busting it open and replacing the lid with a normal gatic lid sourced from elsewhere.
Let the ocean rust those welds for a bit then hitem wth an oxy cutter and a car jack from underneath.

Unless they slab the entire cover over like they have at greenwitch..
