Can't fraggin' believe this. After all of that, I get "accidentally" 'ported across the universe? For what?!

Might as well start simple. Do we even have any idea what year it is? Star charts, anyone?

Because being as vague as the Pit is going to get me on the right track.

What can you tell me?

There is no known way to return home. The wearable has many useful features [a window with instructions, lists of apps, etc, appears and then shrinks into a holographic button off to one side], the teleporters are your best way around the station, and the System Administrator: Hypatia is...fickle. Suggest getting 'used to' this place as you will be here for some time.

[This is as close to 'calm the fuck down and stop being a douche' that Rinzler will ever get to saying. Anything more will result in some serious damage to one or the both of them otherwise. There is never any warning.]

...Well, that wasn't so hard, was it?

Thanks for the info.

Hn. Sounds familiar.

[His tone grows a faint bit softer.]

You take care of this place?

[That gets a legitimate pause. Of one full second.]

Negative. Original System known as 'the Grid'. This place is different.

...Function is unchanged however.
