What really chaps my ass about families like this is that people send them money and supplies. Because they made the choice to have far too many children, they are suddenly deserving of charity? I don't fucking think so. It's not directly analogous, because the McCaughey brood are septuplets, but they were given everything because the a) used fertility treatments to get pregnant and b) refused to cull her internal parasites while they were still in the brood sac.

And I also hate rewarding people for reproducing through charity, extra welfare, etc. I remember being only 15 or 16, riding home on the bus, and listening to Jenny Simonis lay out her plan for having tons of babies as soon as possible, because "the more kids you have, the more welfare they give you." Ugh. How about instead we confiscate the kids and put them in foster care? I can't see anyone who created new life solely for the purpose of collecting more government handouts being good parents anyway.
