Looking for an International Video/DVD Adaptor

Hey everyone, I'm looking for an adaptor that will enable someone to play a German video/dvd on an American video/dvd player. Anyone know of such a thing?

Can't help you much with VHS playability, but on DVD players there is a code you can put in that will allow your DVD player to play multi-region DVDs.

If it's PAL/NTSC conversion you're looking at, there are computer programs that will let you transfer.

The difference between PAL and NTSC is the number of lines and the frequency of images. It's not an adapter you need but a conversion of the source.
