Ahahaha, poor Kyotn, not only his P name didn't get called, even maretu ignored Kyotn's real name!!!
But, at least I now know his real family name... And a little preview to his next song (maybe).

I haven't had the time to go properly hunting for other videos, but I used to love checking P4 and Durarara ED versions.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN that Iroha song. It was fantastic and beautiful and WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE USE IROHA.
Moratorium Boy (Or Boys Moratorium, either way) sounds less like Two Breaths Walking and more like if wowaka tried to do a Hachi-styled song. There's just enough "what the fuck" in it to be Hachi-flavored, the random imagery in the PV lends itself to that too, but the song is still very much wowaka-sounding.
No sir, I don't like Uraomote reverse edge mix. TOO scratchy. Unhappy Refrain is pretty much the golden standard for wowaka scratchiness, I think.
Both Kanannon and VGPerson already have translations of (Junk/Rubble/Heap) Princess + Apostrophe, none of them can decide WHAT kind of princess it is, and I am conflicted as to which I want to take as the "best" translation. Either way, in typical Sasakure tradition, it's catchy as hell and makes me want to baww. If Moratorium Boy was "Hachi Meets Wowaka", then Princess + Apostrophe is "Hachi meets Studio Ghiblisasakure"... While the song is VERY MUCH a sasakure song, the way this Miku ( ... )

I think Iroha's problem is that it's very easy to overdo her - go a little too far with the warbling and it becomes really, really weird.

Moratorium Boy gets the Two Breaths Walking label almost purely for the video. I really can't get the similarities out of my head there.

Every time "I CQC Q" came up I imagined little junk princess Miku grabbing someone by the wrist and flinging them over one shoulder.

I think that is the MOST realistic I have ever heard a vocaloid, but maybe I have become deaf to all but the song. vOv

I dunno, I don't much remember 2BW's video, but the video seemed Hachi-esque too, in its own way. I mean, Aztec calendar wtf?

Oh, I didn't mean that song in particular. It's just kind of an Iroha thing - I've heard a lot of songs that didn't make the final cut where her voice kind of went right off the other end of the scale, which can end up just as bad.

Two Breaths Walking was about ponchos and getting stabbed with stationery. Also, Evangelion references. It was also in almost exactly the same graphical style, though I think the PV makers were different.

AHS Crazy is the best thing ever, Ronald McKiyoteru included, full stop.

Utau Sora is pretty cool, but the voice is sorta generic. And that name, urk, for some reason I missed that the first two kanji was different from Suiga Sora's name and did a double take when the video started playing orz

It seems like most people have latched onto the MMD model more than the voice - a string of videos using it came out in a row shortly afterwards.

/crying I never have the time to watch/listen to every single song on your posts, but I always want to, because there's always at least one song that becomes my favorite every single tiiiiime

That said, that first Miku track is EPIC SAD AND AWESOME. *A* I'm gonna go look up more sasakure stuff, I'm sure I already know at least 1 or 2 others by him...

The two he's most known for are Hello, Planet and 16-Bit Wars. He has done some other work, as the tag ( I swear if LJ blocks this I am going to scream) shows, but most of his less famous stuff is more general and less "depressing narrative".

Notably, sasakure has done work on BMS files, which are basically fan-made Beatmania songs. It kind of shows, in the way he sets up a song and lets it progress.
