Dear Canadians who record and upload Studio 60 on Sunday nights, you are my favorite people! I had to go to bed before it aired here last night, and now I am sitting at work waiting for my first color change in the dance show and I'm watching last night's TV while I'm doing it. Yay!

did you hear? it's in danger of getting cut :(

I'm already hooked on the show, but it's numbers have dropped radically and the network is thinking about cutting it - the only saving grace is that they contracted with Sorkin for 13 episodes before even seeing a pilot just to get him onboard... so it might live elsewhere like Love Monkey did. :(

next week it's not even on - they're supposed to sub Friday Night Lights in there... wtf...

WHAT? That's the worst news all day! Everyone I know who watched the first one is hooked. But then my friends aren't exactly a slice of the population. I hate those dumb numbers. I also hate stupid American television tastes.

I actually said of Sorkin earlier today that part of the reason I like him so well is that he expects a lot from his audiences. I guess he expects too much. That's tragic all aside from the show's danger.

I love the Canadians! That's how I get my fix Studio 60. And I heard that about the getting cut thing too. It makes me sad. It is wrong and I will be pissed if it happens.

I mean Jesus if Everybody Loves Raymond can have a multi-year run then I want my Studio!
