On Thursday, the 29th I made that 3+ hour into Shasta County from Sacramento to meet with my Public Defender, Dena, on the dog thing. Stopping at a rest stop for a few minutes, I watched the birdies building nests in all of the trees around the restrooms. It's been a week already? Sheesh! Well, this was my first week back to college for the new quarter, and I'm not used to having such loooong days in class. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays this time around, but they go from about 10:00 until 4:00 pm. A quiet but nicely sunny Wednesday. I've e-mailed George at Sill & Associates and called him twice, and he's ignoring me so -- I guess he ISN'T going to offer me a job, and is now too cowardly to tell me that. *Sigh*  Aren't there any "MEN" in business anymore?

It was chilly again today, but the weather can't seem to decide whether it wants to clear up or rain again. I didn't get out of bed until about 8:30, which is unusual for me. I was in Shasta County today after having spent last night at Mike'n'Sharyi's (thank you again, guys!) This was a super-busy week for me, and I am worn out! Phew!

It's overcast, windy and cold today. I spent part of this morning working on a test for my Legal Research class, and writing more for my latest Trek story. Up to Chapter 9 of "The Pon T'Keshtan" is now on-line, and Chapter 10 has been sent to my "betas" for review before I publish it.
