Went to the Zoo and the Nona House
Wednesday, July 14, 2010: This is the first day to pick up books at the college for the new quarter, but I think I'll go on Friday morning instead, when the bookstore will be opening earlier. I love small zoos. Santa Barbara's is my fave. We have the "Cathouse" close by here. A refuge for abused and neglected big cats, leopards, tigers, lions. It's super tiny and not really very entertaining, but we enjoy going through there and seeing the healing process.
The Nona yard will look Faaabulous after some watering. Look at that big, shady tree! Some water, some flowers and it will be a lovely retreat after a busy day.
I don't much care for waterbeds, but Hal is a big fan. Although, now he's a fan of the Tempurpedic kind.
Walken is a family favorite. He's so versatile, weird and scary and sweet all at the same time.
