Making the most of a bad situation....RANT!!

Dec 03, 2008 15:29

I'm not going to deny that Una had to let go three players recently. Two of those players in the yugiohrp3 group weren't let go for disciplinary reasons while one of them has. I'm not going to sugar coat this. Una has given special allowances to the three players and one of them has really stepped out of line and went as far as to email me ( Read more... )

yugiohrp3, pissed off, comm

*sigh* You guys are lucky, you're still RPing. I'm getting withdrawals here, because our 5-year group has become inactive. I've suggested some random, fun RPing like the time before the RP started, but so far no one is biting. I have also offered to re-post certain exchanges that the newer players never read. So far, nothing yet ( ... )

Oh hey!! Actually there are no hard feelings at all and Una will let you come back since you presented no fuss. This entry here is more of a rant for those that actually gave Una trouble when it came to the characters and with her rules.

I'm sure that in your case, and Una was very aware of the time or lack of, she will have no problem letting you come back. ^__^

You did an excellent job when you were able to play. ^__^

Thank you very much for your support to the mod and your understanding. It really helps the mod to know that she has the support. She's been under a lot of pressure lately. From her finals to the attitude that she's received from the players that she had to recently cut.

I called Una today and let her know and the relief in her voice sounded like a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. She did express to me that she wouldn't mind having you back once your situation is cleared up and your able to play more.

She also stated to me that you played an excellent Ryou and she would really like to have you back. ^__^

I'm sure the situation will calm down with the others soon, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Thanks again for your grace and for your compliance.

I can only go as fast as the income comes in. Meaning that my rent and food came first. I will be getting my phone back on but it's going to take a while. She really wants to talk to me about something that she read and I'm just as anxious as she is.

As for Smith, she volunteered to take the journal and she wasn't pressured into it.

Yeah, that's the logical thing to do anyway. *grin* I'm not pressuring you to do otherwise, I just didn't know if you knew. Though the way this keeps coming out I'm making gagging noises because it sounds totally soppy not to mention a little too much like a bad romantic comedy... (Wouldn't THAT be a surprise. O_o;;)

Then maybe the inadvertant pressures came about afterwards. *shrug* I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but I'm worried about her nonetheless. Frodo-kun doesn't have much subtext if any. (I seem to like people without subtext...*sheepish laugh*)

Rose has been sending me emails because my chat is disabled and I can't seem to fix the issue easily. I'm most likely going to have to reboot and check my system since this is a shared computer. But that's another issue entirely.

Yes, I did know about her wanting to talk to me. I'm pretty sure that she needs to vent so that's fine with me. I am just about there myself. Once everything gets situated and put together in it's proper places, then there will be little issues on my end to contend with.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep in touch.

I do realise that it's a month too late, but lightrobber January 10 2009, 15:05:18 UTC
I stumbled upon this just recently. And I can't help but wonder...

The reason that Lightrobber wasn't allowed to return was because she used a third party to get her voice heard instead of contacting the MOD on her own admonition nor contacted anyone that she expressed that she wanted to return other than to two players that were standing on shaky ground to begin with.

This.
Where did you get the idea that I wanted to return? Or that I was even trying to? If you've read my conversations with Skunky, which - I assume - is the case here, you obviously have not read all of them. At one point I did say that, if Skunky was in a dire need of a Noa, I could try to reapply. I was merely toying with the idea to console her, and we both were very well aware of it ( ... )

It was in group chat on Gmail during a player's meeting around the 10th of May last year or so, where Skunky had said that she was expressing on trying to get you back in, is where I heard it. I keep those conversations confidential.

As you said that it no longer matters now, but I just wanted to get that part straightened out. I was mainly discussing about the conjecture going around that seems to be creating most of the issues since facts tend to get pushed to the wayside.

Then that might have been before I said my final word on not going back. Reformed evil-gone-good guys were never my cup of tea and I originally joined it only because Pearl suggested me to Mog back in the days when the comm was low on activity.

In reality, I was over and done with that RPC the minute I deleted Noa's journal.
Though, and I'll admit it, hearing that I "wasn't allowed to return" when I'd never sought for it, touched a nerve.

That's completely understandable. I can understand the feelings of being left in the dark and suddenly getting news that you can't come back to something can be not only upsetting, but irritating when there was no word given ( ... )
