I get what you're saying, but there's a flaw in your argument, too. Sterilisation programs would cost huge amounts of money, so only developed countries would be able to fund them.

Thus, even though what you said would happen to the US if this happened, there would be no way to restrict birth rates in, say, Ethiopia using a sterilisation program unless it was funded with money from developed countries. Ethiopia wouldn't have the funds to instigate such a program in it's present state.

I read somewhere that the average western person consumes 10 times more resources than people in Ethiopia.

Sterilisation is a horrible right-winged thing to talk about, but since our numbers were never meant to be this high something will have to be done about it sooner or later.

What the hell is 'octomom': a woman who had 8 kids? No, I don't see this as arguing, just raising points. And it's probably unimportant on a personal scale, but not on an international scale.

Sure, go ahead and add. I forget who is on my friends list, so I just thought you were on their any way. lol XD
