L'Hearthome Gym is pleased to have with us a most special guest: Wallace, champion stand-in for l'Hoenn region. He will be staying with la gym while he pursues his passion for les contests in Hearthome City.
What would this mean for you, les belles people?
We are most pleased to announce a Hearthome Gym Special for the duration that Wallace will be with our gym.
Wallace has agreed to team up with Fantina, la gym leader de la gym, to offer a tag-team battle with any trainer(s). How does this work, you wonder?
Les Rules:
1) Any trainer, or a pair of trainers, may challenge Fantina and Wallace to a 2-on-2 Pokemon Battle. The challenger wins when both Fantina's and Wallace's Pokemons are unable to continue with le battle, and vice versa.
2) For a single trainer challenging Fantina and Wallace, if he/she manages to win le battle, the challenger is most entitled to a Relic Badge. This is to acknowledge le additional difficulty of a tag-team battle, and to battle a champion stand-in in addition to a gym leader.
3) With clarifications to the above point, a challenger who wants to win le Relic Badge may choose to instead battle Fantina alone in a standard gym match. There are no obligations to enter into a tag team battle with both Fantina and Wallace to fight for le glorious badge.
