Will you have to spend a night in hospital after getting your tonsils out? Either way, you should make sure you have plenty of popsicles around. Start emptying out your freezer now!

*clings* It does suck, especially when you don't have the energy. I'm glad I've got most of it done. Just one more challenge, but the deadline isn't untill the 20th, so that's good. :)

If everything goes okay, I won't have to stay. I'll go in in the morning, and I get to go home in the afternoon/ evening if everything goes the way it should. Will def. start stocking up on popsicles.

You take care of yourself, petal. That infection has probably left you extra fatigued - it's surprising how much something like that can take out of you, and how long it takes to fully recover. I'm glad you're having the tonsil op soon, you don't want that hanging over you and getting in the way of JIB!

I hope even the small pain disappears soon. Ear/tooth/head aches are the worst and when they're brought on my another just as evil infection of pain/illness they're a nightmare *hugs*

Wow, sounds like you've been busy! But at least you're feeling better.

Hope that the tonsils go ok, here they tend to go by the theory that after a few years you'll stop getting them infected and that provides better immunity than having them out. Apparently it sucks while you're going through it though.

I still love your crocheted art. :) Didn't peg that one as you at all, but mermaid Dean is adorable. Bring on the tentacles!

It really sucked, and I really don't want to go through this a few more times, so I'm more then okay with having them out. My tonsils are really big in normal state, so having them out might actually solve some other minor issues I sometimes have.

I think the idea here is that it is cheaper, and in the long term it is better. (That being said, my 88 year old grandmother was born without tonsils and has done perfectly well with her health so that is clearly not always the case!)

But my brother had it three years in a row and it looked fairly shit. So I don't blame you. I hope it all goes ok, you got time off afterwards?

Yeah, I'm hoping because I work with kids, my immune system will be pretty good, even without tonsils. :')

It sucks so much. Yeah. I really need to be able to talk for my job and I'm not sure how my troath will be feeling come monday, so I kinda called in sick for the week afterwards. Hopefully I'll recover fast and that one week will be enough.
