The evolution of drawing...

As I mentioned earlier on this journal, spring cleaning has me in it's grip, and this week, I've started on my own room. Tuesday I was going through the drawers of my desk, and found a huge stack of old sketchbooks, with drawings in it going back 20 years. I couldn't resist and I had to go through them, and I took some pictures of some to share ( Read more... )

Thank you for sharing your drawings! I really love the portraits <3<3
Julian my middle son is the artist in our family (although Alex is not bad - he has his own style) and he has a whole pile of drawings that he likes to look through and add to every now and then. He's totally in his own little world LOL

Love your little corner - "messy" or not. It looks like a fun place to be. And your hair <3 Pretty<3 I love the color.

Interstellar 5555 - the drawing looks a lot like Matsumoto Reiji's Gingatetsudo 999(Galaxy Express 999).

Welcome, glad you like them. :D

That corner is where a lot of my arts and crafts material is, so really like being there as well. :D Thank you so much. <3

That could very well be. Matsumoto Leiji also worked on Interstellar 5555. :)

Oh I love seeing all your old drawings and how they build up a picture of the artist you are today! I'm tempted to do a similar post now, as I have a ton of ancient drawings I did from aged 2-3 upwards (thanks to my Mum saving some of my earliest masterpieces LOL).

Your art den looks great. I really need to sort all my stuff out but the task seems too daunting... and wow, your hair really has got long! Lovely!

Ooh, I would love to see a post like that from you. It's always fun to see how someone grows into their style. :D

Yeah, my mom saved tons of work from me as well. I think I posted some early artwork before from when I was even younger, some years back. Those drawings are so fun to look at. :D

Thanks!
