Ellen DeGeneres has joined American Idol, effectively replacing Paula Abdul. There seems to be a sharp divide in opinions about this; I'm definitely Team Ellen, even though I don't even watch AI-- I like her perspective about it, she's coming in as a fan of music instead of as a maker/producer/seller of music. This coming season will be interesting

The one sad thing about Natalie getting a new permanent gig is that it really does put that final nail in The Middleman's coffin. I know, I know, it's been cancelled for ages now but -- denial is strong with this one.

I'm not good with baseball metaphors so I can't tell if the Futon Critic liked the show or not, but I came away pretty pleased with what they were saying. Eee, new Stargate in just a few weeks! :D

No problem! I guess this is the first time he's done television (other than The Simpsons) so I just hope they don't cancel the show before his appearance.
