HBO has picked up Treme, a series set in New Orleans & from the creator of The Wire.

Three more Doctor Who serials are being released on R1 DVD on September 1st: #88 The Deadly Assassin, #94 Image of the Fendahl, & #150 Delta & the Bannerman. You can see the box art for all three titles here.

I'll definitely be buying it on DVD if/when it comes out in Australia. The likelihood of that happening any time soon is low to nil though, alas.

I will say that I liked the new True Blood trailer a bit more than the last one, myself. It looks quite promising!

I'm sure they'll release the DVD in Australia at some point; Dollhouse will start airing on FOX 8(?) on June 9th. (I'm not sure if you already knew that, forgive me if you did!)

Oh, terrific! I hate buying weird-region-code DVDs, especially considering I'm supposed to be able to watch any I feel like in Australia (it's illegal to sell DVDs with region coding here, or something odd like that). Thanks, I didn't know!

I'm excited. I'm fully aware that it's going to be nothing like the books and they'll have fucked the story up majorly... but I'm excited. :D

I'm just hoping that the show is more a vampire show featuring teenagers (like BtVS) rather than a show with teenagers featuring vampires (like, oh, Twilight).
