I honestly don't know how it got to be Friday already. This week has went by remarkably fast. o_O

This will be the final season for MADtv. Like SNL, it's had good & bad years and talented & not-so-talented cast members but it's definitely a show that was funny more often than it was not.

Privileged has gotten an order for 5 more episodes, taking ( Read more... )

YAY, Sanctuary!

Man, NBC has really shitty luck with their soaps huh?

I was actually pretty surprised that they picked Sanctuary up -- pleasantly surprised, of course! :D I just figured they would be wary of having another high-budget show on the books.

Heh. I think NBC is having some shitty luck all around.

Ridley Scott is working on a movie version of Monopoly. ... I actually can't make any smart remarks about it because, well, one of my Top 5 movies of all-time is Clue.

That's exactly why I haven't mocked the idea like some friends of mine. Do they not remember how hugely successful that was? And with all of the shit going on with the economy lately, it's not as though they don't have inspiration for a movie based on a board game which is all about sheisty business dealings!

You're definitely right. If they can do it properly, this movie could be to the current economy what Clue was to McCarthyism.

I really hope the Dead Like Me movie does well when it comes out on DVD because I think that would give some vindication to Fuller's marketability. And, even though I really don't want Pushing Daisies to be cancelled, I must admit that I'm intrigued to see what it would look like as a comic book.

Even though it isn't the greatest show on air, I'm sad about My Own Worst Enemy being cancelled. I was so happy to see Christian Slater again. Bleh.

There are so much news in this post! Thanks very much because I didn't know quite a few things here and if it wasn't for you, I'd still be in the dark about them. :D

I hadn't had a chance to watch My Own Worst Enemy but I do know that most of my friends who gave it a shot were enjoying it. It's unfortunate the network didn't give it more of a shot. :/

I hope that Christian still has the acting bug & goes back to doing movies again. He's kick-ass. :D

Ah, thanks! *blushes* Doing these posts is also really good for me, because I probably wouldn't know about this stuff either if I didn't have various alerts & news feeds set up; it's win-win for everybody. :)
