I need to start dressing better. Yesterday a shopclerk asked me if I was from the Midwest.

Also, I'm a bit confused about this NYT article. It's ostensibly about the three women who star in the new, hideously-titled Broadway show Boeing Boeing, but it seems to be much more fascinated by the fact that all three women are eating than about anything

(also, your comment about the midwest makes me think of the episode of sex & the city in which carrie gets into an argument with berger because he doesn't believe her when she says that a woman from new york would never wear a scrunchy.)
