someone extraordinary just pointed this story out to me recently.

he was using this quote as his away message... i knew it looked familiar, and i was trying to figure out where it came from, and yours is one of the four sites that comes up (which is weird, considering that there are many that have the story itself - but i've forgotten the mechanisms of google and i'm sure it makes sense somehow, heh).

hey, found you through james' journal and i had to comment only because this is one of my favorite short stories (from one of my favorite books of short stories) and we like very similar webcomics.

so i guess i just wanted to say, you have good taste! heh.

I went to your journal - we actually met that night at the huge house that Chris was housesitting. We bowled! That was me!

Hahaha anyway. I am a huge webcomics nerd. And a huge nerd to boot. Someone sent me that story - what collection is it in?

I must procure a bookie by this man. Despite my semi-hostile attitude to love stories in general, this managed to soften me up a bit. I can't remember how many times I've yearned for but one meaningful word to say to those insta-soulmates I bump into from time to time... but I've never had the courage to try. I'll try to let this story resonate for me the next time I consider averting my eyes!

Haha, thank you! I shall reciprocate in kind. Though I warn you... I am really bad at updating. And tend to only do it when I feel a need to rant.
